What the OCD Name Really Means to Us

You’ve probably guessed that the name Olivia’s Cleaning Department (or OCD, as we often refer to it) is a bit of a play on words — and yes, we’ll admit, we thought it was clever.

But for us, it goes much deeper than that.

The OCD name reflects the standards on which this company was built — and the level of cleanliness we strive to deliver every single day. From our sleek white logo and uniform to the carefully chosen products we use and the systems we follow, everything is rooted in a clinical standard of cleanliness. That influence comes directly from my background in dental nursing — where every surface, fixture and fitting in the surgery had to be clinically clean, not just clean-looking.

That mindset has shaped everything in our business.
